Negative thoughts create negative outcomes. What we think about often determines what we experience.
Prayer, as an example, is an effective way to bring your thoughts and prayers to rest. Prayers not only mean words; they also have meaning. When you pray, you’re not just expressing something you may be feeling at that moment but you’re expressing your deepest feelings and intentions to God. When you have positive thoughts and emotions, the same will be conveyed to the almighty.
Some people believe that prayer doesn’t have to be said everyday. It should only come to mind when you feel peace of mind or when you’re about to have a good sleep. Others believe that praying needs to be said every day because it’s such an important part of a person’s life. A third group believes that praying has to be said all the time. You should try to talk to God as intimately as possible, and this is usually done through prayer. Whatever your particular belief, it’s important to remember that you are to speak to God as though He were in person.
Negative And Pessimistic
Your attitude counts in many ways when it comes to prayer. If you are negative and pessimistic about many things, then your mind will be filled with negative thoughts and your prayers and intentions won’t be as strong. On the other hand, if you have strong positive thoughts and emotions, your mind will have a much better opportunity to communicate those thoughts and intentions to the almighty. Having a positive mental attitude is one of the keys to having strong prayer vibrations.
When you’re praying, don’t think of negative thoughts when you think of praying. Thinking of negative things will block your prayers from being effective, so try to think positively as you pray. Prayer is supposed to be a time of feeling God’s love and power. If you are focusing more on the negative than the positive, your vibrations won’t be strong enough to communicate the truth of what God wants for you and others.
Control The Way You React To Them
Your mind can’t control all the events and happenings that happen in your life, but it can control the way you react to them. When you’re hoping and praying, avoid focusing too much on the negative or the sad events. The more you focus on the bad and the sad, the more you’ll create more negative thoughts and emotions in your mind. Think instead of what God wants for you and others. If you concentrate more on the good and the beautiful things that happen to you, the more positive thoughts and emotions will enter your mind.
As you begin to pray, remember that God does not answer with words, but with actions. Tell yourself that you know that He’s on the other side giving you His best, and that you’re just another person that he has to take care of. If you tell yourself this, you’ll find that you’re less likely to get discouraged when things don’t go the way you planned. It’s better to see the bad in things as opposed to seeing the good. The more you focus on the bad, the less you will have positive thoughts and emotions.
When you get discouraged, remind yourself that you’re not the only one going through this. God is not even the only one who is dealing with negative thoughts and emotions. You’re not alone. So, just hold on, and keep telling yourself that you’re not alone. Keep reminding yourself that life isn’t about to end, and that you’ve still got days and weeks left. And, while you’re telling yourself these things, you might as well focus on the good things that are happening to you, and the beauty of the Lord and the rest of nature.
